They aren't blended. I just used the lighten.darken tool to create the optical illusion of 3D scarring while holding the color palate and topography of his face, the same way I would shade or highlight it with a pencil and eraser. Then again, I know those scars REALLY well. The Auror badge I just straight up drew with paintbrushes, but that's far from my first time again with that emblem.
This really is a great job. You managed to blend the scars in a way I wish I were able to do on 3D renders (and I do it directly on the skin texture, not after the render is done). Nice texture on the Auror badge too
