"The Artist has requested Critique on this Artwork"

I think it'd be better if Michael didn't so obviously have three hands - two going into his pockets and a third up near his chest. Don't remember THAT from Harry Potter. That is not a trick of the coat on his right, that is a definite third arm.

Also what NeoAngelSS said about your midground and head tilting issues.

The midground bushes are blurrier than the distant trees, which is throwing off the composition a lot and is kind of confusing my brain. And for how his head is tilted, Michael's face looks awkward - it looks like it should be tilted more left than it is. The lighting on his face and the lighting on Terry's aren't consistent - Terry's is darker like he belongs elsewhere while Michael actually seems to be outside. And the hyper-detail of the faces in comparison to the relative blurriness of everything else is also kind of throwing me off. It just doesn't look finished, really.

/tl;dr critique

I really like the color scheme and it seems to really have a lot of potential. : )

Thank you so much for this! I'd never taken on such an ambitiously sized project (the whole thing is 4500X6000 pixels and my notebook display is 600x1000) so I had to work on it in small sections. I knew that there was something off about the finished product, but I couldn't put my finger on it and shrugged it off to just being way over-involved and needing to at some point say "that's enough" rather than fiddling aimlessly. Now that you've helped me quantify what the issues are, though, I'm going to go back to this piece. Thank you again!

Ok I cant add a critique, not a piad memeber. The separate subjects are well executed but the two boy's feet at throwing me off. maybe it's light. Don't know. Love teh winter's day background.

Guh I love the blue coat.

You are VERY PRODUCTIVE! Holy smokes...
